Glebe House is a guest house, restaurant and 15-acre smallholding nestled in the beautiful Devon countryside. Inspired by the agrotourismi of rural Italy, it focuses on locally sourced food and art experiences. The house itself is filled with beautiful artwork; the decor maximalist, homely and eclectic. In crafting a logo and bespoke typeface for Glebe, I wanted to embody that aesthetic, capturing the laid-back bohemian-yet-luxury sensibility at the heart of the brand. It was important for the visual identity to be rooted in the homespun values of the original Georgian vicarage, whilst giving it an aspirational and contemporary edge to appeal to a young metropolitan audience.
